Another couple of porches we put up this week with the help of our summer interns from the American College of Building Arts. One porch was above the New River in Pearisburg, and the other at Smith Mountain Lake.

The shop is humming with new help. We are pleased to have a Floyd County High School student and two American College of the Building Arts interns join us for the summer. We are happy to see new folks wanting to learn the craft from our talented crew.

Had a great crane day on Monday, got it done before the rain came today. Josh got to fasten the traditional Pine bough, he’s becoming a real timber framer!
