Check out this fresh walk-in, ready for move-in day! 🌼

Double hanging space on both walls, adjustable shelving, and a tower for folded clothes and shoes give this closet a place for everything from day one.

Plus, with plenty of room to grow, the design can keep up as their storage needs change.

What's the first thing you'd put in a brand new closet? ✨

For this client, it started with a few bins and a handful of favorites on the shelves. Every item gets its own spot, and the space fills up one choice at a time.

His side, sorted. 👍

Open shelving up top, cubbies for folded clothes, pull-out drawers below, and a tilt-out hamper that keeps laundry tucked away.

Every part of this closet was designed with a purpose, giving him an organized place for everything while making the most of the available space.

A functional walk-in closet changes how your whole day starts ❤️

This couple now has far more vertical storage, with every shelf, rod, and drawer placed where they need it. Custom design turns the space they have into the space they wanted.

That space at the bottom of your closet doesn’t have to go to waste.

For this project, we turned the toe kick into velvet-lined jewelry drawers that pull out flat, keeping necklaces, bracelets, and other small pieces organized and easy to access.

It’s a small detail, but it adds storage right where you need it without taking up additional closet space.

Nearly 25 years in business, built by the people you see right here. ❤️

My Custom Closet has always been about people. Bryan and Jill have built a team they know, trust, and are proud to have in customers’ homes.

That trust shows in the way they work: they’re detail-oriented, respectful of your space, and committed to making the installation process feel comfortable from start to finish.

All these years later, that team is still at the heart of what makes My Custom Closet special.

Not every closet has a clean, simple layout to work with, and this one is a good example. With a foldable attic staircase built right into the space, the design had to account for the drop-down access without wasting an inch of storage.

This is where custom really matters. A pre-made system wouldn't have worked here, so Bryan designed around the staircase to make the most of the space that was left, keeping the attic fully accessible while still giving this homeowner a real closet.

If your closet has an odd feature like a pull-down staircase, sloped ceiling, or an awkward corner, that's exactly the kind of layout Bryan enjoys solving. Reach out and let's design something that actually works for your space.

Long, narrow closets are some of the trickiest layouts to design, but they're also some of our favorites to transform. ❤️

This one has beautiful hardwood floors underneath, and the white melamine system we installed keeps everything feeling bright and open instead of boxed in.

A few things we always keep in mind with narrow closets:

- Keep hanging off both sides of the entry so you don't feel closed in the moment you walk in
- Build in a mix of shelving and hanging so you're not fighting for space
- Little details and storage accessories make a huge difference in a space this shape

Bryan designs and installs every project himself, so a tricky layout like this gets his full attention start to finish. If your walk-in closet feels more awkward than useful, reach out, and we'll come take a look.
