Before beginning a project that involves excavation, Colorado property owners and contractors must contact Colorado 811 at least three business days before digging so participating utility owners can mark underground public utility lines. 👷

Remember: Utility locating and land surveying serve different purposes.

📍 Colorado 811 helps identify underground public utilities.

📐 A property survey establishes or retraces property boundaries and can show where proposed work is located in relation to those boundaries.
