Holly Piazza is proving it’s not too late to learn something new. A former teacher, Holly is now in FVCC’s Plumbing Apprenticeship Program, working alongside her husband at their family business, Clear Flow Plumbing. What started as a way to better understand the trade has turned into a hands-on career path. 🔧

Through the apprenticeship program, Holly is gaining the technical knowledge and real-world experience needed to grow their business and meet the demand for skilled trades in our region. She shares, “The Plumbing Apprenticeship program is preparing me to enter the business.”

🌟 Holly’s journey shows how community colleges create local pathways that open doors at any stage of life. With one year left, she is building her skills while working alongside her husband, living out what “earn while you learn” really means.

This is an older Orangeburg pipe. We replaced with schedule 40 PVC.
