What started as a simple circuit breaker replacement turned into a deeper troubleshooting job.

Our customer called because a dryer circuit kept tripping, and it initially appeared that the breaker needed to be replaced. After performing a thorough diagnosis, we discovered the real problem was a failing contactor (relay) controlling the dryer circuit.

If you look closely at the photos, you'll notice the discolored connection on the right side of the contactor. That discoloration is a sign of a poor electrical connection that was generating heat and causing the issue.

This is a great example of why proper troubleshooting matters. Replacing the breaker would not have solved the problem. By finding the actual cause, we were able to make the repair quickly and get our customer back up and running with minimal downtime.

When electrical problems arise, accurate diagnosis is just as important as the repair itself!

Another emergency “no power” call solved.

We recently responded to a customer experiencing a loss of power, and the cause was damaged overhead service conductors.

If you look closely at the picture, you can actually see the wires weaving through the tree branches.

These conductors were damaged from normal wear and tear alone. Now imagine what would happen during a hurricane with 100+ mph winds pushing those branches around — the wires could be completely torn apart.

This is exactly why it’s so important to inspect and clear tree branches away from overhead electrical wiring BEFORE hurricane season arrives.

A little preventative maintenance now can help avoid dangerous situations, power outages, and costly emergency repairs later.

If you have trees growing near your overhead electrical service, now is the time to address it. Stay safe and storm ready.

These pictures show the cause of an emergency service call we received where the homeowner was experiencing partial power in the home.

The issue was traced back to an improperly installed circuit breaker that caused arcing on the bus bar. Situations like this can become serious safety hazards if not addressed quickly.

The proper solution in this case is to replace the damaged bus bar section and install a new main circuit breaker.

This is a great example of why electrical work must be installed correctly the first time. Proper installation helps prevent costly repairs, unexpected outages, and potential safety risks down the road.

If you’re experiencing flickering lights, partial power, or any electrical concerns, don’t ignore the warning signs. Give us a call, 954-388-6763.

This one was definitely not an easy job. We had to cut out the cabinet wall behind the panel just to gain proper access and get the work done correctly.

Pictures of the finished product to follow!

This is a great example of the lengths we go to for our customers. No shortcuts — just doing the job the right way, even when it takes extra effort. 💪⚡

Another important part of a 40-year inspection — checking the building’s grounding system.

In this photo, Brusner and Tyler are inspecting the ground rod connections that help direct dangerous power surges safely into the ground and away from the building. If these connections are loose or damaged, the grounding system may not work properly, putting both equipment and people at risk.

Ground connections can loosen over time due to corrosion, moisture, and even damage from landscaping equipment, which is why regular inspections are so important.

A properly functioning grounding system is one of the key safety components of any electrical system. ⚡
