We wrapped up our build for the Forsley family last week, and it turned out beautifully! 🏡

From helping find the right piece of land to putting on the final touches, we were grateful to be involved in every step of the process. There’s something special about watching a vision come together from the ground up and finally become a place a family can call home.

❤️❤️❤️ The last couple of weeks have been some of the harder ones we’ve had in construction. And then we found out that Trabar Homes was voted Best Home Builder in Granville County.

I’m not sure I can adequately explain how much that meant to me.

This wasn’t something decided by a panel of judges. You nominated us. You voted for us. And you took the time to support our family and our business.

That’s pretty special.

Selection days can mean a lot of choices (and sometimes changing your mind a time or two 😄), but they’re also one of the most exciting parts of the process.

Help us spread the word! We don’t want anyone showing up on Tuesday and missing out.

We’ll have fresh-squeezed lemonade, homemade brownies, and cookies, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Families Living Violence Free.

When I started writing this, I realized the answer wasn't nearly as simple as I thought it would be.

What I love most about this job isn't what I expected when I first got into home building.

And looking back now, I wouldn't change it for anything.

Monday night is going to be dedicated to squeezing what feels like a million lemons 🍋😂 and baking plenty of brownies and cookies so everything is fresh and ready for Tuesday!

The girls decided they wanted to bring back their lemonade stand after all the fun they had a couple of years ago. If you were there, you probably remember just how good the lemonade was!

This year, they chose to donate 100% of the proceeds to Families Living Violence Free. (Thank you Jessica for helping with this)

Come see us in front of Trabar Homes on Tuesday, August 4th, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM (or until sold out). Grab a cup of fresh-squeezed lemonade, a brownie or cookie, and help support a wonderful cause.

Appreciation Friday!

Although taxes are his day-to-day job, my husband is always the first person I call when I need something figured out, fixed, or when I need an extra set of hands. Last Sunday, he spent the majority of his day unloading and moving cabinets into one of our homes.

I couldn’t do this without him… even if I have to hear a few complaints along the way. 😂
