What started as a simple service call turned into a deep dive into a heavily damaged irrigation system on a rural Fairhope property.

When we arrived, there was no controller, multiple zones were stuck running, and years of previous repairs had left the system in rough shape. After manually locating 9 valves, tracing wiring, diagnosing failed components, and uncovering several shortcuts taken by previous contractors, we were able to identify the real issues instead of recommending a complete replacement.

Many companies would have looked at this system and told the homeowner they needed a brand new irrigation system at a cost of $9,000 to $10,000.

Instead, we developed a restoration plan that will bring the system back to proper working order for less than half the cost of replacement. The project includes new control wiring, a smart controller installation, valve and solenoid repairs, sprinkler head and rotor replacements, and adding automated control to the pond fill line.

Our goal is always to find the most practical and cost-effective solution for our customers. Sometimes that means replacing a system. Other times, it means taking the time to diagnose the problem correctly and saving a homeowner thousands of dollars.

This is exactly why experience matters.

Our customer in Orange Beach had recently purchased their home and had no idea the property was equipped with a well-fed irrigation system. During the inspection, they mentioned the system was not working, and that turned out to be partially true.

After troubleshooting, we confirmed the pump and start relay were operating properly, but the irrigation controller had failed and needed replacement. Once the new controller was installed, we were able to perform a complete system audit.

The system had excellent pressure, but years of neglect had taken a toll. We relocated several rotors to improve coverage, replaced seven failing rotors, installed multiple new spray heads, and flushed and upgraded several spray zones with MP Rotator nozzles for improved efficiency and performance.

What started as a simple service call quickly turned into a full irrigation system restoration. The result is a system that is now operating properly, providing better coverage, improved efficiency, and a healthier landscape for the new homeowners.

Completed some pretty intense troubleshooting in Fairhope today on a system that hadn’t run since 2020. This one had 7 downed zones and plenty of issues from the original installation, but after tracking down and repairing multiple wiring problems, we got every zone back up and running properly again.

We also replaced 2 spray heads, several nozzles, and 4 rotors to bring the system back to full performance.

This irrigation system is officially back up and running the way it should be.

Today we completed some preemptive irrigation upgrades for Osborne Landscaping ahead of an upcoming landscape renovation. The existing 3-zone manifold had multiple issues including a leak and two valves stuck open, so we rebuilt the manifold with new valves and expanded it to a 4-valve setup to allow for an easy future tie-in when the new zone is installed during the renovation. We also replaced the old dysfunctional controller and completed all wiring updates.

Getting ahead of irrigation problems before new landscaping goes in helps protect the investment, prevents unnecessary damage later, and ensures every new plant and bed will have proper coverage from day one.

We always enjoy working alongside great local landscaping companies to make sure the irrigation side of the project is just as solid as the landscaping itself.

Completed a full irrigation system repair and efficiency restoration today in Baldwin County.

After performing meter diagnostics, we found continuous water movement even when the system was not actively running, indicating a constant pressurized leak condition. Based on the flow data and system behavior, we recommended and installed a master valve to isolate the irrigation system whenever it is inactive and prevent ongoing water loss.

We also repaired a leaking lateral line and replaced several damaged spray heads to restore proper coverage and efficiency.

The system is now operating correctly, holding pressure properly, and running far more efficiently than before. Small leaks and inefficient components can waste a surprising amount of water over time, especially on older systems.

System restoration completed today in Fairhope.

Our client is preparing to renovate the landscaping before putting their home on the market, and wanted to make sure the irrigation system was fully operational before the makeover begins. After troubleshooting the system, we found 4 downed zones, multiple electrical issues, 10 damaged spray heads, and 2 leaks throughout the property.

We repaired the wiring issues, restored all zones, completed the leak repairs, and replaced the damaged heads to get the entire system back up and running properly.

Now the irrigation is ready to support the new landscape installation and help get this property market-ready.

Today’s schedule: 6 leak repairs across 2 residential properties. Hidden irrigation leaks can waste thousands of gallons of water, create soggy spots in the yard, and slowly drive up your water bill without you even noticing.

From cracked fittings to buried line breaks, we tracked the issues down and got everything repaired and running properly again.

If your system has low pressure, wet spots, runoff, or unusually high water usage, there’s a good chance a leak is costing you money every day.
