Their clawfoot tub was difficult to step in and out of, especially since neither of them used it for baths. They also wanted to preserve the deep built-in drawers beside the shower.

Larry and Theresa came to us by way of a family referral. Theresa’s mom, Ellen, had worked with us on a shower remodel last year and recommended us when it was time for Larry’s bathroom update.

The bathroom had been remodeled before, but it was overdue for a fresh look with a little more personality in the design. At the same time, it was important that the new shower included the safety features Larry needed, including a slip-resistant shower base, grab bars and a fold-down seat.

Jim and Sherry have owned their home for eight years, and updating the bathroom had been on their to-do list for quite a while.

They were ready for a full makeover that would bring the entire room up to date. Removing the tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower was a big priority, but they also wanted the whole bathroom to feel more modern and pulled together.

Scott worked with them on design choices that fit their budget, including suggestions for cabinetry and flooring that helped complete the look they were after.
