An Edgewood bungalow designed for the way its owner lives today. 🏡

For this Atlanta remodel, we updated the primary suite with a completely remodeled bathroom, walk-in shower, pocket doors, custom lighting, new tile and a beautifully designed vanity.

We also made much better use of the adjoining laundry and closet areas with custom cabinetry, quartz countertops and floor-to-ceiling storage.

🏡 Edgewood Bungalow Remodel | Atlanta, GA

There’s a lot to love about Atlanta’s classic bungalows—but sometimes the floor plan and storage need a little help catching up with the way we live today.

For this bachelor’s charming bungalow in Atlanta’s Edgewood neighborhood, we remodeled the primary bedroom suite, bathroom, and laundry area, creating a more functional space while keeping the character of the home.

🚿 The primary bathroom remodel included a complete demo and rebuild, new plumbing and electrical, a space-saving pocket entry door, new tile flooring, shower tile, a state-of-the-art shower waterproofing system, new lighting, and a custom vanity. The green tile, terrazzo-inspired finishes, warm wood, and statement lighting give the finished bathroom a distinctive look without feeling out of place in a vintage Atlanta home.

🧺 The laundry closet remodel was all about making better use of limited space. We added custom cabinetry designed around the washer and dryer, a quartz countertop, and cabinetry extending all the way to the ceiling—providing everyday storage below and extra storage above for less frequently used items.

It’s a great example of how a thoughtful Atlanta home renovation can add modern function and storage without taking away the charm that made you love your older home in the first place.
