This sweet lady was very busy giving all the love at the office yesterday, but we finally managed to snap her pic for National Dog Day! 🐾

What does supporting local mean to you?

Maribel says "Ruff ruff roooo!", which based on her tail wags and infinite kisses, we are fairly certain means "getting to engage with my neighbors, friends and family in a way that spreads joy and fosters community connection." 💜

Pretty in pink!!!
The guys pretty much are working six or seven days a week lately so we haven’t gotten a lot of pictures but we promise more are coming!

We did want to share this story of a new construction project going up in elk mound.

This little lady has been waiting for her pink bedroom for a little over two years after a couple delays in the project. The guys were so happy to put in some weekend time to get this one done so she can have her forever room ready later this fall.

Everyone felt really good about putting in the extra time to get this one moving along.j

Our sister company has turned 10!

And boy are they really doing some impressive stuff!

Just one year after the Pappas’ introduced their waste management and composting business — Earthbound Environmental Solutions, LLC — to Eau Claire, the duo reflected on the trajectory of zero waste choices' impact on not only this community, but the world at-large.

Now, a decade later, those foundational realities – the hard-won triumphs, failures to begin and the tireless pursuit of local engagement in waste – still resonate as Earthbound marks 10 years of working alongside its community.

Subscriber growth for Earthbound’s services has grown 20% year over year, the duo remarked. From its general subscriber base in 2025, 465,000 pounds of organic material were diverted from the landfill.
