Fogo de Chão asked Plantscape Commercial Silk to help fill the planters at its restaurant inside The Venetian. They knew which plants they liked. We turned the list into a layered, inherently fire-retardant ThermaLeaf® mix: natural-trunk Arboricola for height, Chinese Evergreen for body, Ironwood Vine at the edge, spaced to read as one bed of green.

RockCreek Church in Arlington, Washington, asked Plantscape Commercial Silk to turn 55 feet of courtyard wall into something that said who they are. We built a custom exterior green wall that blends five foliage types in overlapping waves, picking up the flowing line of the church's logo. It's a landscape feature and a brand statement in one.

Believe it or not, there's a light fixture under every one of these.

DellShire Resort's design called for foliage-themed lighting, and at the Swim Up Bar in Scale Cove, its indoor pool, that meant five white suspended fixtures had to disappear. Plantscape Commercial Silk built custom trailing arrangements on a slim felt backer that rests on each fixture and covers it end to end. The fixtures stop reading as hardware and become part of the planting.

Not every piece of art hangs on a wall. 🌴

Ray Phoenix is an apartment building in Phoenix's Roosevelt Row Arts District, made for art and the people who love it. For one of its interior planters, we created a custom ponytail palm, a desert tree with a swollen base and a fountain of long leaves. We sculpted the trunk by hand and set the palm against the windows so the leaves catch the light. A natural-wood dracaena stands beside it. 🌵✨

A patio privacy screen has to do more than block a view.

The Library Restaurant in Portsmouth, NH came to us for a hedge to screen guests in its new outdoor café. The site asked for more. The back wall needed full-height greenery with a three-foot opening for servers. The open edges had to hide a parking lot while leaving room above for air to move.

So we split the screen by surface. Our award-recognized Modular Green Wall holds the back wall, and its squared, framed panels stop cleanly at the service path and the result works from both sides: a private green room for diners, and a green face for State Street.

On a restaurant patio, the best screen is planned around service: where people walk, where air moves, and which way each face points.

What makes a room full of technology feel welcoming? 🌿

The Adapt Room, LOGICDATA's Chicago showroom, was designed to show off screens, lighting, and modern furniture, but all those hard surfaces made it feel cold. We designed three custom green walls to change that, each placed to balance with the tech around it so the greenery feels built-in rather than added on.

Now visitors walk into a space that feels calm and alive. Would you have guessed this was a tech showroom? 👇

How do you make Montauk look like Sicily? One branch at a time.

Dolce & Gabbana's boardwalk boutique at Gurney's needed vines that looked like they'd been growing over the storefront for decades. So we joined 200 yellow bougainvillea branches into long, climbing vines and shaped them around the posts, across the roofline, and right up to the logo.

The result is a little corner of the Mediterranean on the Atlantic.

At The Monarch, the light comes from the trees.

The hotel's rooftop restaurant in downtown San Antonio was designed to feel like a garden lifted above the skyline. At the center of the room, a grove of our custom trees rises on natural wood trunks, wraps around the bar, and spreads its canopy across the ceiling.

Instead of hanging fixtures below the trees, every lantern is tucked up into the branches, so light pours down through the leaves the way afternoon sun filters through a real tree. To make that work, the canopy had to read full and lush with light behind it, and every lantern needed a natural place among the limbs, with no hardware in sight.

Living trees could never grow up here, so we built a grove that brings its own sunlight. 🌳💡

How do you keep a 13-foot tree on a Seattle rooftop when a storm rolls through? 🌬️🌳

That was the challenge at Fogo de ChĂŁo's new Seattle restaurant. The team wanted the same trees inside at the bar and outside on an open rooftop patio. In Seattle, that means planning for wind and even earthquakes.

Our trees weigh 500–600 lbs each, so we shared their weights early. That let the engineers design support built for Seattle. Base plates were set into the roof before construction wrapped, and then the trees were lifted up by crane.

Now they're strung with warm lights and glowing over the firepits with the city skyline behind them. And they'll look exactly like this next winter, and the one after that.

One foliage line. Full rooftop sun at the top of the building, low light at the front door. Same color, same fullness, in both.

The Joseph hotel in Nashville, needed greenery that could hold up in every corner of the property. Our PermaLeaf® UV-stable foliage provided the answer: engineered to resist fading and drying under direct sun and heat, with the density to stay lush where natural light never reaches. We selected every stem to work in floral foam, so the design team could build freely.

The result: a cascading vertical garden at the arrival drive, floor-to-ceiling greenery in the lounges, and a planted feature wall on the rooftop pool deck. All of it stays vivid year-round, with no watering, trimming, or lifts in guest spaces.
