Role: The primary role of this position is to repair and refurbish PCs and Laptops. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware, software and equipment to ensure optimal performance. This position will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
Desired Skills:
· PC software and hardware support
· Collaboration with third party providers to solve problems and improve environment
· Windows 10
· PC Imaging and Deployments
· PC and Operating System Security
· Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy
· User management: creation, deletion, and maintenance
· Operating system patching
· Antirust and malware tools
· Installing harddrive and RAM
· Ability to see and make recommendations for improvement within the computing environment
· On-call availability.
· Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
· Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand and power tools, and to handle other computer components.
Education and Experience: College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or two years equivalent work experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in multiple skills listed above. Courtesy, tact, diplomacy, and ability to work as part of a team are essential elements of the job.
