🔨 MAJOR STRUCTURAL FLOOR REPAIR — WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! 🏠

This one turned into a lot more than simply replacing some flooring!

Once we started tearing into the existing floor, we uncovered extensive rot and termite damage throughout the floor system. We removed everything that was compromised and rebuilt it the right way from the structure up. 💪

✅ Removed all existing rotten flooring
✅ Removed termite-damaged 2x6 floor joists
✅ Replaced them with new treated 2x8 joists
✅ Replaced multiple damaged sill plates
✅ Rebuilt the support beams underneath the floor using triple 2x8s
✅ Installed new 3/4" Advantech subfloor throughout the repaired areas
✅ Replaced the sill plate, bottom wall plate, and outer rim underneath the dining room window
✅ Pulled the exterior wall back onto the foundation after it had dropped and kicked out

This is one of those jobs where the finished product may look like "just a new subfloor," but there is a TON of work underneath it that you'll never see once the flooring goes down.

The goal wasn't to cover up the problem — it was to remove the damaged structure and rebuild it solid so this home has a dependable foundation underneath it again.

Over the last few days, we had the opportunity to give this home a much cleaner, more finished look by installing new metal skirting all the way around it.

The difference is huge! 👏

🏠✨ Another transformation underway! ✨🏠

Over the past week, we’ve been working on finishing out this bedroom inside a pole barn/barndominium, and it’s come a LONG way!

We finished up the framing, installed a new window, hung and finished the drywall, added texture, and gave everything a fresh coat of paint. 🔨🪟🎨

There are still a few finishing touches to go—Tyler’s Carpet will be coming in to lay the carpet, then we’ll finish up the trim and install a new ceiling fan—but just look at the difference already! 🙌

We feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to help this family get a finished bedroom ready for their son. Projects like this are exactly why we love what we do!

🔨✨ Busy week here at His Will Construction & Handyman Service LLC! ✨🔨

Over the past week, we had the opportunity to tackle some land clearing with our mini excavator in Diamond, MO. We cleared two fence rows, hauled off 8 loads of brush, and removed an additional load of chain-link fencing and scrap metal. 🚜🌳

We also started a bathroom renovation project on Wednesday. The before photos show exactly what we walked into when we arrived. After another company came in, tore the bathroom apart, and left the homeowners with a major bill, they were unfortunately left without a working shower or toilet for nearly 4 months. 🚿🚽

We're proud to help get this family back on track. While the project isn't finished yet, we're making great progress and will continue posting updates as we move forward. Stay tuned for the transformation! 💪🏡

Hey everyone! Here's some photos of jobs we've completed over the last week or so! Today we finished up this 8x12 second story deck with 4' wide steps, 16 steps down! All built 💪 with 6x6 and a double 2x12 cantilever! Wednesday we were able to patch some sheetrock in Joplin, turned out pretty nice! Also we removed two windows for some folks in neosho and installed a new sliding glass door, installed a new outdoor outlet, and built some simple steps for their disabled dog! Very productive week for us! 🚀🌟🎉👏💥😊👍

We have successfully completed this 28x36 pole barn today! It features a 30' mancer truss with a 2' overhang in the front, a 12' sliding barn door equipped with a Cannonball track, and three 3x4 windows. The result is truly beautiful!
