Inspiring the next generation of designers. 📐✏️

Earlier this week, our team headed out to Fort Benton for the Chouteau County Career Fair, proudly sponsored by the Fort Benton Chamber of Commerce.

It was wonderful connecting with middle and high school students from Fort Benton Montana, Highwood Public School, and Big Sandy Schools. We loved sharing what we do, advocating for the architecture profession, and encouraging curious students to ask questions about design and the built environment.

A huge thank you to the Chamber and all the participating schools for organizing such a fantastic event. You never know where a spark of inspiration might lead!

Today, BSPARK Architecture reflects on, honors, and celebrates the rich histories, cultures, and enduring contributions of Indigenous communities across Montana and beyond.

As a Public Benefit Corporation, our commitment to thoughtful design is rooted in deep listening and building lasting relationships. We are honored by the trust placed in us by Tribal partners across the state. One project currently underway in Browning is our exterior envelope renovation for Blackfeet Community College—updating the Beaver Painted Lodge and Medicine Spring Library.

The design pairs durable, weather-tight siding with continuous insulation and custom decorative metal artwork that reflects the campus’s identity. We look forward to sharing more progress as construction continues, but today, we celebrate the vital educational and cultural leadership of institutions like Blackfeet Community College.

The objective for Vision Net's new HQ expansion was bold: overhaul a stuffy, dated bank interior and replace it with a sleek, high-performance facility that reflects Vision Net's position at the forefront of network technology.

By pairing custom LED spatial lighting with ribbed architectural paneling, integrated display walls, and transparent collaboration suites, the design brings energy, light, and modern tech capability into every corner of the workspace.

Sneak Peek! 📸

Ground-up construction isn't the only way to build for the future. When Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks needed a new regional hub in Havre, they bought a five-bedroom log home to convert into a fully functional field office—plus a brand-new operational shop facility next door.

We preserved the original log structure's character while transforming it into a high-capacity civic facility. Professional photos coming soon. Stay tuned! 🛠️

Honored to be recognized by our peers! 🏆

This past Thursday, The American Institute of Architects (AIA Montana Chapter) celebrated design excellence across the state. BSPARK Architecture is thrilled to share that the Baatz Block received a Citation Award!

The AIA jury recognized the project for its deep community impact, combining historic adaptive reuse with trauma-informed design strategies to create permanent supportive housing for 25 local households.

A milestone like this only happens through extraordinary partnership and shared vision. Huge congratulations and thank you to the entire team who brought this project to life! 🤝

Expanding local culture from concept to reality.

Public benefit architecture in progress! We are thrilled to share rendering updates for the Montana Dinosaur Center expansion, featuring a new 2,000 SF entry gallery and expanded museum entry.

Designing civic and educational spaces requires balancing traffic flow, visitor engagement, and structural storytelling. This new addition will help the Center welcome paleontology enthusiasts from across the globe for years to come.
