Beyond the Spectrum is sharing a holiday assistance opportunity that may benefit families raising children with autism.

The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation (ASDF) is preparing to open applications for its **2026 Holiday Gift Card Program**, which provides additional support to families during the holiday season.

From 2023 to 2025, ASDF provided $50,000 in gift cards to families raising autistic children.

**Important Dates:**

**Applications Open:** November 2, 2026

**Applications Close:** November 16, 2026

**How to Apply:**
Applications must be completed online at www.myasdf.org.

**Important Information:**
- Applications are accepted online only.
- Autism documentation is not required to apply but will be required if selected.
- Recipients are selected randomly.
- ASDF works with autism organizations across the country to help distribute gift cards to families in need.

And don't worry, there are absolutely no tricks here—we have a premium, piping-hot cup of coffee ready to go as a special treat for Miss Lou! No decaf pranks, we promise... Lol.

What is the Teal Project Car?

If you're wondering what kind of engine is under the hood of a "teal project," don't expect a V8. This vehicle is powered entirely by inclusion!
The teal paint job means Peace Place is proudly participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project, a nationwide movement dedicated to making Halloween safe and inclusive for children with food allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions.
Instead of traditional candy that might cause an emergency pit stop, this trunk is fully loaded with awesome non-food treasures.

Thank you to MonTech for coming to our Peace Place peer to peer parent group and sharing what amazing work your organization does for our community.
The adults were learning , the kids were playing thank you Miss Hannah Newman for providing child care.
