Our free “Madisonville Live Cams” app has exploded and has become such a hit, we have decided to change the name to “Madisonville Plus Live Cams” and install live cameras in other cities all over the southeast part of the Louisiana and in Mississippi!

Yesterday we installed two cameras in Hammond at the intersection of Railroad and Thomas St. One is a panoramic view with great night vision of Railroad Avenue, looking north and south and the other one is a PTZ “pan tilt zoom” set up to tour the area!

We are excited to announce we have added three new cameras to our “free” Madisonville Live Cams App!

A couple of weeks ago, we added a live camera looking down from the top of the lighthouse!
The other two cameras were installed on the social restaurant, one is a panoramic view, and the other is a PTZ “pan tilt zoom” one looking and one scanning the Riverfront/Water Street area.
These two cameras will be great for events if you are unable to get out of your house. You will be able to enjoy events like the fireworks Friday night for the Fourth of July or the up-coming 2025 Wooden Boat Festival! That’s right, for the fireworks Friday night, at 8:15 we will stop the "Madisonville Riverfront PTZ" Camera from scanning around and park it looking up at the sky for you to enjoy the firework show! That show is scheduled to happen at dust Friday night, which should be around 8:30.

Great news!
High speed fiber Internet to the boat launch area is now solved and the Lighthouse and boat launch cameras are now online to view from our Live Camera App.

Good news and bad news…

As promised, the Madisonville Bridge camera is now installed and live on the app—plus, as a bonus, we’ve added a city view camera looking at the west side of the bridge!

Now for the bad news:
Unfortunately, the internet connection at the boat launch isn’t fast enough, so those cameras are currently offline. We’re working on a new internet solution and hope to have it up and running within the next 5 to 10 days.
