The easiest way to make any bathroom feel less like a boring bathroom? Start with the details.

Unique tile, a statement sink, antique lighting, and walls that are color drenched or wrapped in wallpaper can completely transform the feel of a space.

In this bathroom, the Diamond Casablanca Carrara & Bardiglio Grey Marble Mosaic from  became the foundation for the entire design. The pattern adds movement and character while still feeling timeless, tying every element of the room together beautifully.

Big whoops at a recent project 👀

When these cabinets were installed, we immediately realized the color wasn’t matching the trim the way it was supposed to. So… they had to come right back out and be rematched.

One thing people don’t always realize: when you’re matching cabinetry to trim or wall colors, you typically aren’t using the exact same paint product. Cabinetry requires a lacquer finish, which has to be custom color-matched to standard wall or trim paint — and sometimes that match can shift more than expected once installed in the space and natural light.

It’s a mistake that’s completely avoidable with enough sampling and testing, but every now and then things can still slip through the cracks. The good news? We caught it immediately and fixed it before moving forward.

Part of creating a truly custom home is obsessing over the details — even when it means redoing something entirely to get it right.

What began as a 1950s ranch home purchased in 2015 became the forever home this family truly needed. They loved the lot, the location, and the neighborhood, but the home no longer fit the way their family lived day to day.

After seeing our signs around town and following along with our work, they reached out to our team to help reimagine the space. Initially, a second story was never part of the plan — but after walking through the possibilities together, they were all in.

So, we did what we do best… we raised the roof.

The result is a home designed with far more functionality, thoughtful flow, and room for this family to grow for years to come — all while creating a space that feels timeless, personal, and reflective of their aesthetic.
