Designing and installing high-performance roofing assemblies across multi-level medical campuses requires precise ex*****on at every layer.

On the new Lillie and Roy Cullen Tower project at Baylor College of Medicine, R.B. Hash executed complex waterproofing and roofing scope across multiple deck types and structural levels:

🔹 Level 12 (Main Roof): Installed a high-durability Siplast 2-ply Cold-Applied Modified Bitumen assembly over a concrete deck with a continuous v***r barrier. Thermal performance was achieved with fully tapered polyisocyanurate insulation and cover board, meeting a minimum thermal resistance of R-25. All insulation and cover board components were 100% adhered in low-rise insulation adhesive to maximize wind-uplift resistance and eliminate thermal bridging associated with mechanical fasteners.

🔹 Levels 4 & 11 (Commons & Terraces): Applied a heavy-duty Soprema Hybrid System combining a rugged modified base sheet with a 60-mil Fleeceback PVC cap membrane over metal and concrete decks. The assembly incorporated v***r barriers where required, with mechanically attached base-layer insulation over metal deck substrates and fully adhered tapered insulation and cover board installed in low-rise insulation adhesive. This assembly provided redundant waterproofing and enhanced wind-uplift resistance for high-exposure amenity zones.

From cold-process applications in sensitive environments to hybrid single-ply/multi-ply integration, R.B. Hash delivers engineered building envelope solutions on time and to specification.
