This past weekend, Edwards Electrical & Mechanical had a blast raising money and testing our team’s strength at the 2026 Special Olympics Indiana Plane Pull Challenge!

Our teams crushed it in the trades division! Team Chilled To The Bone clocked in at an impressive 5.23 seconds, with Teams Shazaam and Tug Life close behind at 5.65 and 6.03 seconds. Team Chilled To The Bone snagged first place in the Trades Division and clocked the second fastest time overall! We’re so proud of our teams and their amazing achievements! 💪✈️

As the week heats up to dangerous levels, remember to take precautions to protect yourself! Here are a few tips to help you handle the heat:

● Make sure you're drinking plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. It’s easy to forget, but your body will thank you!
● Try to hang out indoors when the sun is at its fiercest, usually between late morning and early evening. It's the perfect excuse to catch up on your favorite shows or read a good book.
● If you have to be outside for work or any other reason, remember to take regular breaks. Find some shade or pop into an air-conditioned spot to cool off and recharge.

Edwards Electrical & Mechanical is also ready to keep your facility nice and cool, making sure everyone stays comfortable and protected from the heat!

Our 15th Annual MEP Holding Co. Golf Outing in the books!
