Minnesota winter called. It wants its drafts back. ❄️

Wrapped up a great job this week in St. Francis, MN! This pole shed got the full treatment:

✅ Sprayed 3" of closed cell foam on the exterior walls
✅ Coated the foam with intumescent fire retardant paint
✅ Blew in R-50 fiberglass insulation in the attic

Tight, warm, and protected. This shed is ready for whatever a Minnesota winter throws at it.

The crew knocked this shop/house out with 3'' of Closed cell foam in the walls and we will return to Blow an R-50 of fiberglass in the attic!

HOLY SMOKES!

Getting ready for winter! ❄️
Today our crew spray foamed the perimeter of a Shouse for frost protection. We went 24" down and 24" out horizontally, creating an insulated "skirt" that keeps frost from creeping in under the building. Tied the wall spray foam and in-floor insulation all together!
Why it matters:
✅ Helps prevent frost heave
✅ Keeps the slab warmer and more comfortable
✅ Cuts down on heat loss at the foundation

New Shouse in Cambridge,MN!! 6 mil v***r barrier laid with 2” High density foam over top and a little spray foam to button this project up! Spray foam in the walls and ceilings to follow in a few weeks!

Last week some of the Brian's crew took the day off from the job site and headed out to shoot some pheasants. It was a great team activity, and everyone had a lot of fun!
