A few things that might surprise you:
✔️ Concrete pavers are typically 2–3x stronger than a standard poured slab
✔️ If something shifts, pavers can be lifted and reset, with no mismatched patches
✔️ Permeable pavers are designed to let rainwater soak through instead of running off

Pro Tip: Plan the glow before the pavers go down.

If fire or lighting might end up in the finished space, plan for it before the hardscape goes in. Installing conduit and sleeves under the patio and walls while everything is open gives you an easy path for low-voltage lighting wire and allows a licensed professional to run gas or line-voltage electrical later if needed. That way, adding a fire feature or lighting down the road is a simple hookup, not a tear-out.

A little planning now can save a lot of rework and give your clients a space designed for cool fall evenings.
