Ford 3 was proud to help make the historic Marryott Music Building on Rutgers’ Douglass Campus vertically accessible! This beautiful 1920s masonry building houses music labs on three levels and a Concert Hall on the second floor.
The project involved creating space for a new elevator shaft, drilling through the basement floor and bedrock, and modifying doorways to provide a fully accessible route throughout the building.
The impact was especially meaningful when an elderly family member was able to attend their student’s Spring Concert in 2026 thanks to the new elevator.
