Big milestone in the books—this one was an absolute monster build! 🚜💨

We just wrapped up Part 1 of our largest installation to date down at Hangover's Bar & Grill and Liquor Shop at Lake Viking in Gallatin!

When we say massive, we mean moving nearly 700,000 POUNDS of material:
🚚 324,000 POUNDS of System Sand
🚚 360,000 POUNDS of Topsoil

Moving that kind of weight was only half the battle—the precision work on this commercial Presby sand mound had to be spot-on:
📏 490 linear feet of Presby AES pipe engineered across 7 perfectly spaced rows
🎯 Precision distribution box: custom starburst manifold design with flow equalizers leveled to exact spec to guarantee balanced effluent distribution across the entire bed
🏗️ Complete site prep & grade: built, leveled, and shaped for max performance.

A huge shout-out to Hangovers Bar & Grill for trusting us with a system engineered to handle their full operation! Make sure to head over for great food and cold drinks out at Lake Viking! 🍔🍻

Part 2 comes Friday when we set 3 massive septic tanks and tie in the main lines. Stay tuned for the final set! 👇💥

We had some extra hands out on the job a couple weeks back, 3 generations working together! Passing down the tricks of the trade and teaching the younger generation the value of hard work, precision, and what goes into a proper septic system installation.

From running the excavator to getting hands-on with the leveling laser, setting the tanks, and checking the grades. Learning the business from the ground up!

Precision is the foundation of a long-lasting septic system.

At Digger Dave, LLC, we know that a septic system is only as good as its installation. When it comes to your property, there is no room for "good enough."

We pride ourselves on precision during every install -- from accurate site grading, to code compliance, to strategic excavation.

Don't settle for a "quick fix" installation. Get a septic system engineered and installed with the precision your home deserves. Digger Dave is here to help you from start to finish!

Is Your Septic System Ready for Missouri’s Spring Rain?

Spring in Missouri brings beautiful weather, but it also brings heavy rain and saturated ground. For your septic system, that extra water can mean big trouble if you aren’t prepared.

At Digger Dave, LLC, we see more septic backups in the spring than at any other time of year—but most are completely preventable!

Here is how to protect your home before the next storm rolls in:

1.) Redirect Your Downspouts: Ensure all gutter downspouts are pointed away from your drain field. You don’t want roof runoff soaking the ground your system relies on for filtration.

2.) Check for "Spring" Puddles: Walk your yard after a light rain. If you see standing water, mushy soil, or unusually lush patches of grass over your lateral lines, your system may be struggling to drain.

3.) Reduce Water Use: During heavy rain events, try to space out your laundry loads and limit long showers. It gives your system "breathing room" to handle the excess environmental moisture.

If you’re noticing slow drains or "spongy" ground, don’t wait for a total backup—let’s catch it early. Give me a shout if you're having any trouble!
