About the Role
Are you an experienced Class A driver who thrives on precision and handles heavy equipment with ease? Crane Service Solutions is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Lincoln.
Forget the monotony of standard freight. In this role, you will haul heavy construction equipment, mobile crane components, and oversized loads directly to job sites. You will work closely with our rigging and crane crews, playing a vital role in keeping our projects moving safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
• Haul the Big Stuff: Safely transport construction machinery, crane counterweights, and boom sections using lowboys, step-decks, and specialized trailers.
• Master Securement: Properly chain, bind, and secure heavy loads to meet strict DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Navigate Job Sites: Safely maneuver oversized loads into active, tight, or unpaved construction zones.
• Team Up: Assist with basic loading, unloading, and site setup alongside our crane operators and riggers.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of Class A CDL driving experience (flatbed, lowboy, or heavy haul experience is highly preferred). Clean Record: A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (MVR).
• Skills: Strong understanding of load securement (chains and binders) and oversized load regulations.
• Attitude: A safety-first mindset and a willingness to step out of the cab to help secure a load or assist the crew.
• Physical Ability: Able to handle the physical demands of strapping, chaining, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
