Black Oak Builders Quality craftsmanship ingrained into every build. From early childhood Brian Russell dreamed of building houses one day.

With this dream in mind, he signed up to attend the Building Construction Technology program at the age of 15. He completed the program in 2005 and obtained an associates degree in building construction technology. During that time the home building market was volatile to say the least. He therefore elected to start a remodeling company in 2007, Russell Remodeling, LLC. Now, after nearly 10 years in business doing high end remodels and custom homes we have elected to begin a sister company specializing in spec and custom homes only. Russell Remodeling will forever be what started it all but the time is right to start a company devoted only to home building as this was the original dream.

📆 Initial Meeting
From start to finish, our focus is on you, bringing your ideas to life, and creating a home you’ll love for years to come. We’ll discuss your ideas, offer suggestions if you already have a layout in mind, or create an entirely new custom layout tailored to your needs and style with the help of our in-house drafting and design team.

💵 Budget
From blueprints to budget, we’ll work closely with you to narrow down options and settle on a layout and price point that works for you. Before any contracts are signed, we provide a highly detailed, line-itemized estimate to give you a clear and accurate idea of the expected project cost. While an estimate cannot guarantee the final cost, it provides a strong starting point for planning. Need guidance with financing? We’ll also work with you and our preferred bank to discuss lending and bundling options.

📍 Location
Haven’t purchased a lot yet? No worries, we can help with that, too! As an established Lincoln builder and licensed contractor in Omaha, we have the experience and local knowledge to help you find the right lot for your new home, lifestyle, and goals…

Custom homes. Custom spaces. Built for you.

This homeowner requested a homework and craft room for their kids so we did just that off the dining and kitchen area. The lower level also features an additional en-suite and laundry room for their in-laws. If you’re looking to build a home that suits you, contact us today!
