We can’t end the summer without shouting out our Service Team.

Through long days, high temperatures, emergency calls, routine maintenance, and special installations, our technicians have continued to show up for our customers and one another.

Field Service Manager, Brian M., shared:

Some things are too good to keep hidden. We want to shout out our Estimating & Preconstruction Team for their great work.

This team plays a huge role in making OMI’s success possible. They have driven major year-over-year growth for our Construction Division for years. They keep the field teams busy with a great mix of work across the trades and different project types, from multi-family to healthcare to mixed use development.

We have had a busy 2026 because of them - and 2027 is shaping up to be another great year too.

The first half of 2026 has been a strong one at OMI, and it's thanks to our incredible team for going the extra mile and striving to be better than yesterday.

Our Service Team is outperforming expectations once again, while our Construction Team has been hard at work wrapping up several long-running multi-residential projects and launching new ones.

To kick off the second half of the year, Owner & CEO, Jon recently hosted a series of Lunch & Learns with our office team, sharing an update on our performance and his vision for the months ahead.

A challenging project for both our HVAC and Plumbing teams, the PCI Pharma Research Facility required exceptional teamwork, coordination, and craftsmanship to deliver a high-quality installation.
A special shoutout to Foremen Theodore B. (HVAC) and Jay C. (Plumbing) for their outstanding collaboration with each other, fellow trades, and BW Design Group to deliver a top-quality project on schedule.
Great work to everyone involved in successfully completing this complex and critical project!

Summer weather is in full effect. And our crews are out there every day working in the heat. A big thank you to the construction and service teams for ensuring they stay safe in extreme weather, as well as to the PMs, safety, and people ops personnel who are visiting sites to provide hydration stations.

Our Director of Health and Safety, Eliot B., reminds us:
"Warm weather brings additional hazards to the jobsite. Stay hydrated, take breaks when needed, wear appropriate PPE, and watch for signs of heat-related illness. Looking out for yourself and your coworkers is the best way to stay safe."

Great work, Alfred S!
Alfred recently led a training in which he provided employees with hands-on instruction on drilling and coring. He focused on selecting the proper drill and bit sizes, as well as good drilling techniques to help prevent injuries caused by kickback.
It’s great to see OMI team members stepping up to help each other. Another strong example of Better Than Yesterday!

Congrats to the OMI team that just completed this complex medical office building project in Claremont, NH!

Project Manager, Nick A., shared this about the team:

“This was a great effort amongst all. Mike H. Jr. handled the plumbing scope, Jake K. handled the ductwork, and Cody L. and Phil T. worked together on the complex piping. Phil T. and Stephen S. applied their Mitsubishi training to real life scenarios with starting up the large VRF Trane/Mitsubishi system.

“Everyone worked well with the customer and owner to meet their needs and expectations, providing a quality end result.”

We are so lucky to welcome an incredible summer intern class to OMI! Gage (Clarkson University) is working in project management, while Kate (Santa Clara University) and Lily (Keene State College) are working in communications.

All three have already hit the ground running. We’re excited to see how they add to OMI over their time with us this summer.
