From a trailer full of boards to THIS ceiling.

We carried shiplap across the ceiling of this home to add just the right amount of texture and architectural interest — and seeing it come to life might be one of our favorite parts of this build so far.

It’s subtle. It’s timeless. And it’s one of those details you may not notice immediately…but you’d definitely notice if it wasn’t there.

Now bring on the lighting, countertops and finishing touches — this one is getting GOOD.

Same lake. Same view. A whole new chapter.

This project started with an existing cottage that had been part of this property’s story for years. We took it down to make way for a new custom lake home designed around the way our clients want to live here now—and for years to come.

And now that framing is up, you can finally see one of our favorite parts of the plan come to life…

That. View.

From the very beginning, this home was designed to make the water the focal point. Those windows are going to frame a pretty incredible backdrop for morning coffee, summer gatherings, quiet evenings and a whole lot of memories yet to be made.

There’s something pretty special about building new on a place that already feels like home.

The cottage may be new, but the view never gets old.

A bathroom should do more than just look beautiful—it should make everyday life feel a little better.

This space is all about contrast and balance: bold black tile, warm natural textures, a freestanding tub, and a window that lets the outdoors become part of the design.

We love creating rooms that feel elevated without feeling overdone. Spaces that are beautiful in photos, but even better to actually live in.

Because sometimes luxury isn’t about adding more—it’s about choosing the right details. It’s always in the details 😉

Big productivity doesn’t require a big footprint.

A dedicated home office doesn’t have to be oversized to make a huge impact. Whether you’re working from home, helping with homework, tackling crafts, or simply trying to stay organized, a thoughtfully designed workspace can become one of the hardest-working rooms in the house.

We needed to add an office space to this plan without compromising other square footage. This space worked out perfectly. The 5 x 12 room was carefully curated to not only maximize the square footage but also its functionality.

It’s about designing every square foot with purpose.

That’s the beauty of custom building—creating spaces that fit the way you live.
