Some companies start with a business plan.
CraftCo started with years of experience in the field, a whole lot of hard work, and eventually one simple thought: We can do this ourselves.
And they did!
Meet Emily Craft, Founder & Owner, and Derrick Craft, President of CraftCo, LLC.
Before CraftCo, Emily and Derrick spent years working in the field, learning the industry firsthand and gaining the experience that would eventually give them the confidence to build something of their own.
Since then, they’ve built CraftCo from the ground up — learning along the way, growing through the mistakes and challenges that come with building a business, and putting everything they have into a company they genuinely love and believe in.
But what they’ve built goes beyond the work itself.
Over the years, Emily and Derrick have opened the door for people who came into this industry with little to no experience. They saw potential, gave people an opportunity to learn, and trusted them to grow into roles they may have never pictured themselves in before.
And when we say CraftCo treats its employees like family, we actually mean it. The people behind this company matter just as much as the work we put in every day.
Underground utility and sewer rehabilitation work is a highly specialized corner of the construction industry. It takes experience, coordination, long days, problem-solving, and a team willing to make it happen — and that’s exactly what they’ve continued building.
There’s still plenty ahead for CraftCo, and Emily and Derrick are looking forward to continuing to grow the company they started from scratch.
For the rest of us, there’s something pretty special about being part of that story. We take pride in the work we do, the team we represent, and bringing the CraftCo name with us everywhere we go 💪!

For listening, talking things through, sharing advice, having the hard conversations when they’re needed, and creating the kind of environment where we know we can come to you, sit down, and have a real conversation.
When we say CraftCo is a family, this is what we mean. It’s being able to sit around a table together, have real conversations, laugh together, work through challenges together, celebrate the wins together, and know that at the end of the day, we’re all working toward the same goal.
