We’ve got a big transformation underway! 🚧

Our crews have been hard at work removing these old railroad tie retaining walls and replacing them with new pressure treated timber retaining walls.

Railroad ties were a popular choice years ago, but over time they can rot, shift, and become unstable. Not to mention, many older railroad ties were treated with creosote (a chemical that you definitely don’t want to have around your home).

The new pressure treated timbers are designed to resist rot, decay, and insect damage which makes them a great option for retaining walls. With proper installation and drainage these walls will not only provide a stronger and longer lasting solution, but also give this space a much needed facelift.

We’re excited to see this one come together!

Stay tuned for the finished project... it’s going to be quite the transformation! 👀
