We’re cranking the lights up bright so your turkey looks perfectly golden, the table’s glowing, and nobody has to fumble in the dark for seconds (or thirds).
A quick throwback: In 1621 the Pilgrims made it through a brutal first year and sat down with the Wampanoag for a three-day feast to thank God for the harvest. Two centuries later, with the country torn apart by the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving a national holiday—a day to pause, give thanks, and remember what holds us together.
So fire up the grill, smoke that bird, or go full Norman Rockwell and roast it—however you do it, may your home be warm, your plates be full, and your lights be bright enough to show every smile around the table.
