Mode 6 went down today. Looks like we snapped a leaf spring. Fortunately we had not commissioned Mode 11 yet, so we will be getting that on the road shortly and permanently retiring Mode 6. It will get towed to the shop for repairs and put up for sale in the next few weeks.

Meet the newest member of our management team, Tesla (named after the inventor, not the company). So far he thinks he is fitting in pretty well. However between shrieking at employees, obsessive micro-management and complete disregard for personal space I have a feeling HR will be getting involved before too long.

Sometime over the next few warm days, turn your thermostat(s) to “Cool” mode to check to make sure your AC is working prior to summer. It is much quicker/easier/cheaper to have any issues fixed now as compared to when it suddenly turns 95°. HVAC is one of those businesses that doesn’t get to shut down because of bad weather. We’ve been doing our best to get to everyone the last few days, although some neighborhoods have been undrivable. We are always going to help as many people as we can, doing things as safely as we can. So it’s pretty hard for us to believe that someone hit one of our work trucks and just took off. It was parked on the street in front of our office on Sommerville Court in Midlothian this morning. If anyone saw anything, please let us know. Luckily, our trucks are outfitted with cameras. The good news is that Dave was not in the truck at the time! Be safe out there.
