CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:
• 1 Lawn Mowing Crew Member
• 2 Lawncare Assistants

Lawncare Assistant Responsibilities:
• String trimming around fences, trees, edges, and obstacles
• Blowing off sidewalks, driveways, patios, and properties
• Assisting mowing crews on job sites
• Learning mowing techniques and equipment operation
• Helping maintain clean and professional-looking properties

Mowing Crew Responsibilities:
• Operating commercial mowing equipment safely and efficiently
• Producing high-quality lawncare work
• Working efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Following route schedules and daily crew expectations
• Representing JD Outdoors professionally on every property

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong work ethic
• Dependability and punctuality
• Positive mentality and team attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Motivation to learn and grow within the company
• Individuals who move with purpose and take pride in their work

Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right people who are motivated and ready to work.

Congratulations to our Spring Clean‑Up Nominee, Valerie A.

We were honored to be invited out to your home and grateful for the chance to meet with you. Spending time with you & Elizabeth Jayden was truly meaningful for our whole team. We hope you enjoy that view from your picture window.

Being able to bring in a crew and put in the time to show someone they are valued, appreciated and deserving was a pleasure of ours. It was an absolute honor to be able to sit down with you and share stories and listen to all of yours and just to be able to get to know you a little.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank‑you to everyone in our local communities who reached out with nominations. The stories you shared touched us deeply, and we’re grateful for the trust you placed in us. Your kindness and willingness to lift up your neighbors is what makes our community so special.

Hi neighbors, I’m looking to volunteer some time to help someone in our community who is genuinely going through a difficult stretch.

If you know an elderly neighbor, someone struggling with health issues or a family that has fallen on hard times and is unable to keep up with their yard or basic outdoor cleanup, I would love to help out free of charge. I’m happy to handle some mowing, weeding, or general tidying up to help take one thing off their plate.

This isn't a business offer and there is absolutely no catch—I just want to give back to someone who truly needs it.

Since we're looking to help someone "down on their luck," can we offer assistance in the comments or the contact info for any local community centers, food pantries or other resources that can help out.

We are a very small local family owned business and for us its never been about the invoice or money but moreso about being a company and family that can help support others. We understand people have budgets, ideas and are not made of money but instead of people having to conform to big box companies and pricing; we do the total opposite and work to fit your ideas and budgets and that sets apart from the rest.

Hello all our friends, family and clients. We are wondering if anyone may have a large storage space or shop space for rent for reasonable price. We are growing fast and running out of room and space for equipment and work area. As you all know we are based in Monticello and really want to stay close because this is our community.
