Today is a great day! We are excited to unveil our new logo to highlight who we are and display our core values.

We chose our colors to be Royal Blue and Copper Orange.

•Royal Blue represents legacy and tradition. Reminder of the roots and history the company is built upon.

•Copper Orange represents Sunrise. A sign of new challenges and opportunities ahead.

The Bison is a symbol of our 3 core values and a nod to our state animal's characteristics in parenthesis.

•Stewardship (built to last): "We make decisions with the future in mind; honoring the legacy we’ve built while driving transformation to ensure our long-term stability, growth, and leadership."

•Relationships (herd animals, with power in numbers): "We prioritize trust, respect, and accountability in every interaction; knowing that strong partnerships drive meaningful outcomes."

•Excellence (big and strong, powerful horns, but are nimble and can still pivot quickly): "We hold ourselves to the highest personal and professional standards in safety, quality, and ex*****on; so that our work reflects the pride and purpose behind it."

Our May resolution is to be better at social media.

Check out this ground-up build we recently helped with for Mid Kansas Cooperative's new facility out in Lyons. We're fortunate to have strong relationships with companies like MKC who are constantly doing new and exciting things.

This is what it looks like when Kansas Electric invests in our team!

On November 22, we held a Medium Voltage Training session at Kansas Electric, designed to develop the skills of our apprentices and refresh the expertise of seasoned electricians.

With 20 team members in attendance, this was more than just a training—it was an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to safety, precision, and ongoing professional growth.

The session was expertly facilitated by Cole Carnal, our Project Manager and Medium Voltage Trainer, whose knowledge and passion for the craft impacted the group.

At Kansas Electric, investing in our employees is an investment in delivering excellence for our clients. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this day a success!

Here’s to continually growing as a team and tackling every project confidently and skillfully.

Yesterday, we had the honor of presenting a $50,000 check to the Newton High School Electrical Apprenticeship Program.

Kansas Electric Owner Tim Sweigart briefly addressed those in attendance and shared reasons people choose electrical careers: Finance, Fun, Fascination, and Future. He said the timing for implementing this high-school-level apprenticeship program has never been better, as there will soon be a shortage of electricians due to the increasing demand for green energy. He also said collaborating on this project perfectly fits Kansas Electric's mission: to enhance the quality of life for the people and communities they serve!

This classroom was made possible by a joint effort among Kansas Electric, Hutchinson Community College, Harvey County EDC, Rensenhouse, and Newton High School.
