Congratulations to Joseph Tuxhorn, our Safety Champion for June!

Joseph's commitment to working safely and looking out for his teammates is what helps build the strong safety culture we value at Kansas Electric. When asked to share a few words on safety, Joseph shared this quote from Ernest P. Worrel:

Relationships is one of our core values at Kansas Electric, and today was a great reminder of what that looks like in action.

This morning, our employees and their families participated in the Wichita Heart Walk in support of the American Heart Association. We were honored to be recognized as a Top Company fundraising team, but what means the most is seeing our team come together to support a cause that touches so many lives.

Strong relationships extend beyond the jobsite. They include caring for one another, giving back to our community, and showing up when it matters.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, and helped make this year’s event a success. We’re proud of our team and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference together.

Electrical maintenance is no longer something to put off until there's a problem.

With the updated NFPA 70B standards placing greater emphasis on documented maintenance programs, facilities are taking a closer look at system reliability, safety, and preventative planning.
