I'm a supporter of this idea. As someone who has spent 20+ years in the tree industry, I can't help but notice dangerous trees. So many are located along our roadways, and every time I drive in a storm, I am paying attention to the wind direction and surrounding trees. In this case, a young mother lost her life, and it wasn't even storming; it was just a lack of anyone maintaining a right of way. Read the petition and strike your name on it if it's something you agree with. Any little bit will help.

My boy and I got a special invite to go see the Union Pacific 4014, "Big Boy" locomotive that is traveling across the country for America's 250th 🇺🇸
The more you read on this, the more interesting it is. In 1941 UP built 25 of these, in the 50's scrapped 17 when the diesels came along, 8 remain, 1 works. It's the largest operating steam locomotive in the World 🌎. Ed Dickens, the guy driving is the man who made it happen. He heads up UP steam program, and is the guy behind fully disassembling the 4014 and rebuilding it from the ground up. The 4014 was nicknamed "Big Boy" by a random boiler maker who took a piece of chalk and wrote it on the front. You'll notice the y has a "v" on it, this stood for victory, refering to ww2. The name stuck.

The 4014 lived its entire life out west. This is the first time ever it has came to this side of the US.
It's a rare opportunity to get to see this, and I highly recommend seeing it if you can. Visit UP.com for its schedule. Today, Sunday July 12th you can see it in Struthers OH, then tomorrow it has stops in Rocky River and Fostoria. 🚂🤩

These things never break over the winter when you have time to do major repairs....
This will be the 5th motor in this machine. Ive changed 4 of them. This was last replaced in 2019. The SC1152 is a 2008 model and I estimate it has over 20,000 hours on it total.

The students built these houses and now they are for sale. This hits home for me because in the late 90's we built little houses in our Jr. & Sr. years. The skills and knowledge the students gained packed into the little buildings is all the same techniques to build a house.
