Got another driveway repaired, this one is partially paved, not sure how long it is but it's long,lol. Cleaned the ditches out, took the sides down, distributed 40 tons of rip-rap, installed a culvert & hauled 4 loads of stone. Didn't price the landscaping but I did throw out some seed, need rain now. I don't know if we done good or bad, but us old geezer's put out almost 40 tons of rip-rap, by hand and a bucket full at time with our mini. We got our culvert installed, cut all the roots & done a little sprucing up. Little grass to be sowed, tad bit more rip-rap to distribute & 3 loads of gravel to haul, by the end of the day Monday, I hope, lol. You can see where the water ran down the pavement & caused the gravel to wash, not good.

We're about to get to the bottom with the rip-rap. One bucket at a time,lol. He lays it in the ditch & I come behind him & straighten it out. I blew the leaves off the road & swept it,we got a little more rip-rap to put out, a culvert to install & 3 loads of gravel to haul. Got back on out little driveway job, had vehicle problems. Every driveway we work on the sides are higher than the road and have to be took down to get the water in the ditches. Putting rip-rap in the ditches, hauling a few loads of gravel and patching some places with some bags of asphalt. Give us a call for all your grading needs,828-442-8791.

Doing a little driveway repair. Taking the sides down to get the water back in the dtiches, and not running down the sides of the road. Installing a culvert so the water don't have to travel as far and placing some rip-rap in the ditch to slow the water down. Give us a call for all your grading needs, 828-442-8791.
