Having no power at your home can be disruptive and then turn stressful as you realize you may lose the food in your refrigerator & freezer. Hurricane Isaias caused power outages all over our area. We know most everyone has power back on, but understand there are still some who do not.

~~Help us help you~~

We want to help you prepare for the next time there's a power outage. Let's talk generators. There are many out there to choose from and they all power the things in your house differently. Some may power a few plugs, lights and a refrigerator while larger ones could power your hot water heater too (we all know how difficult a cold shower has been).

Let's discuss how to get your home generator ready and go over the specifics of being ready for the next time we have a power outage.

Call us! We'd love to work with you to give a little peace of mind for the next time.

‼️THINGS TO KNOW AND ASK before hiring a Contractor‼️

* Are they licensed? To name a few, electricians, plumbers, and roofers must be licensed to work in the State of Florida. (Tree companies do not have to be licensed, although some are, so consider asking them about their credentials and certifications).

* Are they registered with Sunbiz (Florida Division of Corporations)?
This proves that a business legally exists in Florida, however it does not prove that someone has their license (See DPBR, below).

* Are they registered with the State of Florida? To find out if your licensed contractor is registered, go to the Department of Business and Professional Regulations (DPBR) to search.
https://www.myfloridalicense.com/portalsearches/VerifyLicensee
Licensed contractors are bound to state rules while unlicensed contractors have no one to answer to which could lead to expensive and drawn out lawsuits.

* Do they carry Liability and Workers Comp Insurance? If not, you could be financially liable if their worker gets hurt on your property or causes damages. This protects you and them from financial risk if something goes wrong.

* Get a second opinion if the price seems too high. Desperation can cause some to take advantage of your vulnerable state. It IS OK to get a second opinion. We know that price gouging is 💯% happening in our area.

Please reach out to us (or send our information to your friends/family) if you’re in need of any residential electrical services - whether it’s hurricane related or not. We’re here to help.

Good Morning Gulf Coast Community! We hope you’re all doing well considering the conditions. As we look around our community, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see all of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Isaias.

We know these are challenging times right now, with so many still without power and water as well as long gas lines and spotty cell services.

We are aware that we have a lot of messages waiting on our voicemail, and we want you to know we are aware. We’re working through those messages as we can and hope to return some calls today.

We are also without utilities and will be closed today as we work through the challenges of limited communication with our team and the resources needed to get back up and running.

Our goals is to get moving and help our community just as soon as we’re able. Please bear with us as we try to get back on our feet as well.

Our hearts are with everyone who has been impacted, and we pray for safety and strength for all of you as we work through the days ahead.

Good Morning Pace and Surrounding areas -
We pray everyone weathered Hurricane Isaias and is okay. What a powerful storm this turned out to be!!

We know this morning as the sun comes out, everyone will be able to assess their damages and work to rebuild what was lost.

Before you go with a licensed Florida Company to help you, check out this page to make sure they’re registered with the state. There will be lots of new faces in the area to help. We believe most people have a good heart and good intentions, but just be cautious of a few things:

* Never pay full price up front 🚩
* Check the FLORIDA licensed company name on this website (Go to “Entity Name” to search)
* Get contractual paperwork

We will be back in the office on Monday morning as all our staff are also assessing damages and some have left the area.

We are saddened for our community but we are also resilient and will make it through to get restored back to normal.

Hi all -- just a reminder that Hurricane Season is just 3 months away. When storms get close to our area, materials and generators can become scarce. NOW is a great time to be thinking about purchasing your portable generator and contacting us to get it wired for the storm season.

As always, our quotes are complimentary. We'll send one of our well seasoned foremen out to evaluate your electrical situation to determine what needs to be done to hook up your generator. Once installed, they will instruct you on the components and how to get it up and running.

Let's get this checked off ✅ of your honey-do list before the season gets here! Give us a call - we'll be happy to help -- 850-995-1755.

We posted about this a few years ago, but felt it was important to revisit.

Please take note if you own or rent a home, apartment, etc:

This bathroom exhaust fan sparked and we were called out to check it out and change it out. Upon arrival, multiple fire trucks pulled up too. The bathroom exhaust fan exploded and caught the house on fire! Luckily, it was caught in time, but still did significant fire and smoke damage.
● From the firefighter: we see this all the time where people just leave these running and they are not made to continually run. They can overheat and catch fire! Happens all the time!
● From us: If your exhaust fans are old, dusty, or make noise, get them checked out or cleaned!! Adding a timer can be done too, as it's been said that they shouldn't run more than 20 minutes at a time to prevent overheating. We can do this!!
~~This simple exhaust fan change out turned into a pricey fire and smoke remediation and bathroom remodel~~
Call us if you have any questions or need a change out or timer installation. It's one of our many services. NO job is too small.
