Yesterday morning we got a call from an elderly woman whose husband died a few years back and he was a Vietnam vet. She had a bad leak and her roof was only a year old. We went out and took a look and this is what we found, we advised her to call the company that installed it while we were there to see if they would come fix this. They told her no, that it wasn’t on them. So we ended up fixing it for her for free. Turns out she paid 3 times the amount we would’ve charged for a whole new roof.

This is why it’s important to get more than one estimate and read the warranties. We give our customers a 10 year workmanship warranty, no questions asked, we come out and will fix any problem related to workmanship. We are also the ONLY company that gives a shingle warranty for free.

We understand there’s a lot of new roofing companies here in western Kentucky, most of them storm chase, door knock and suck you into a scam. Don’t sign anything until you get more than 1 estimate. If they won’t provide you with one and insist on talking to your insurance company, tell them to leave. They’re taking advantage of you. We also understand that the majority of the companies here are upset with how we beat their estimates and it’s simple, we give EVERYONE our military discount on material. We don’t have a salesperson to pay a commission to and most of the time we save you most of your deductible on an insurance claim. We’re not cheap because we’re cheap, we’re cheaper because of those things. It’s also why we offer a 10 year workmanship warranty at no charge to you and why we back our work. So before you call that roofing company in Draffenville who did this poor elderly woman this way, do your homework and get more than 1 estimate.

Now if they can just make this law period, so many door knockers, storm chasers and “salesmen” who work for these franchise companies and make customers feel bad if they don’t sign a contract.

Never sign anything, ask them for an estimate for your roof, get more than 1 estimate and never allow these people to call your insurance company. There are maybe 4-5 companies in Paducah that don’t door knock and solicit. Just say no to those that do and call us for a free, no hassle estimate. We inspect roofs for free, don’t make you sign a contract to inspect your roof and believe in a free market. Get more than one estimate and compare. 🇺🇸
