Although the weather has been quite dry we have begun to see some zoysia and centipede lawns show symptoms of disease. If you see this please let us know and we can spray a curative fungicide. If you would like to prevent these symptoms before they occur call us about a preventative program.

Be on the lookout for grey/purple look to your lawn. This happens when the grass drys out called wilt. If you do not water the grass will turn tan and is much harder to get back quickly.
We recommend adding 50% more water until the rain returns. Good rule is your lawn needs 1” of water each week through rain or irrigation.

All my zoysia and Centipede lawns be on the lookout for disease. With all the rain we have had over the last month we have had many calls about brown patch. Spraying a fungicide will give you protection for 14-21 days and allow your grass to continue to strengthen into the summer.
