✨ Every year, I’m surprised by what I planted the winter before.
Well… “planted” might be a generous term. I scatter seeds all over the garden in the fall and then wait to see what decides to show up in the spring! 🌿
This year, one of my favorite surprises has been the White Lace flower. I’ve been taking photos every day since it first emerged so I can learn to recognize it at every stage—from its first tiny leaves, to the developing flower bud, and finally to that magical moment when it opens.
The garden is always teaching me patience, curiosity, and the beauty of surprises. 💚
