When my kitchen flooded due to a broken water pipe, Poseidon Restoration was absolutely outstanding from the very first phone call. They immediately explained what I needed to do before their arrival, providing clear, professional guidance during a very stressful situation.
Their team arrived the following morning, despite having to take a Washington State ferry and travel all the way to Mill Creek. They wasted no time getting to work, quickly and professionally setting up the equipment necessary to begin the drying process.
Once the drying was complete, a second crew arrived to remove the damaged cabinetry and flooring. They were equally impressive—professional, efficient, courteous, and genuinely engaging. What particularly impressed me was their attention to detail and consideration for my home. They asked where I wanted things placed, how I preferred certain areas to be left, and carefully boxed up the entire contents of my kitchen, moving everything into a spare bedroom.
They then completed the demolition work and left the area absolutely spotless.
Because of the age of the existing vinyl flooring, they recognized the possibility of asbestos and took the precaution of collecting a sample for laboratory testing. When the results came back positive, they promptly coordinated with a professional asbestos abatement company. That crew established the necessary containment system, removed the asbestos-containing materials, and completed their work in approximately four hours.
Throughout this entire experience, **communication has been stellar**. Every team member I've encountered has demonstrated professionalism, competence, and genuine respect for my home and my concerns.
What sets Poseidon Restoration apart is that they don't simply show up and perform the physical work. They understand the entire restoration process, including the complexities of dealing with insurance companies, and provide the knowledge and support needed to help homeowners navigate it.
I cannot speak highly enough of this company and the people who represent it. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, workmanship, and customer service have been exceptional.
