It was truly an honor and a privilege to witness the incredible volunteers working tirelessly at the county assistance center, helping families who have been displaced by the devastating wildfires.
Over the past two years, our community has supported Patriot Roofing in so many ways. Giving back is the very least we can do.
We asked what items were needed most, loaded up, and did our best to cover all the essentials. This is just the first of several trips we'll be making over the coming weeks, because the challenges these families face won't disappear overnight.
I'll admit, I was a little out of my element in the feminine hygiene aisle, but I think we managed to get just about everything else right.
I'm incredibly grateful for our entire Patriot Roofing team for donating their time and resources to serve our community. I'm proud to be surrounded by people who genuinely care.
Please continue to keep the firefighters, emergency personnel, volunteers, and every family affected by these fires in your prayers.
And on this 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, we're especially thankful to live in a country where neighbors still step up to help neighbors.
