Job Description:
As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. You will play a vital role in our operations and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivieries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while adhering to schedules.
- Uphold company policies and procedures in all driving activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles, including walking floor trailers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
