Our Women’s Employee Resource Group recently joined Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build, where the team spent the day painting, framing, and installing cabinets to help support future homeowners in our community.

A major milestone is taking shape at this manufacturing facility as the new warehouse racking systems are installed and prepared for storage operations.

Designed to maximize capacity and improve material flow, the racking layout will help support more efficient day-to-day operations as part of a larger facility expansion.

The overall project includes a four-part addition to the existing pre-engineered manufacturing building, creating new production, storage, and office space to support higher throughput and continued growth.

Every phase brings the facility one step closer to enhanced operational efficiency and long-term success.

Last week, Hourigan attended the 16th Annual Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers Conference, where we were proud to serve as the Title Sponsor of this year’s golf tournament at Hidden Valley Country Club. Between the beautiful weather and a great spot alongside one of the tee boxes, our team enjoyed meeting the golfers and handing out some of our favorite swag.

The momentum carried on at the conference tradeshow, where we continued important conversations around the future of healthcare environments and facilities. To end the conference, we hosted a happy hour at 202 Social House. From the atmosphere and great food to the conversations and camaraderie, it turned out to be a great evening, especially for Martin Knight, who won our raffle!

This lift highlights an important piece of the building envelope and mechanical system working together. The RTU curb installation is a critical step in preparing the building for its rooftop HVAC units. The curb elevates the rooftop unit to provide required code clearances while also allowing proper roofing termination to help maintain the integrity and warranty of the roof system.
