We've been so excited to share this one, a complete transformation of a Michigan lakefront cottage. New decks, siding, trim, soffit & fascia, a brand new four seasons room, kitchen, and living area. Every detail was built with this family and their lake life in mind. 🌊

Here's what actually went into this lakefront cottage transformation. 🏡🌊

We kicked things off outside with all new decking front and back, using AZEK Exteriors PVC decking in French White Oak, finished with TimberTech Impressions railing. From there we rebuilt the entire exterior with CertainTeed vinyl lap siding and board and batten, new Quality Edge aluminum soffit and fascia, and AZEK PVC trim throughout. The gables were finished in James Hardie board and batten. Out front, custom cedar columns were installed and hand prefinished by our sister company, Grand Finishes, giving the entryway a warm, natural focal point.

Inside, the kitchen got a complete refresh with all new white cabinetry, opening the whole space up.

And then there's the four seasons room. Every wall was finished in custom prefinished white Pine V Groove, new Pella windows were added to really let the lake view in, and the ceiling was finished with a custom prefinished blue Pine V Groove for a soft, cottage feel. Just like the cedar columns, all of that pine work was done in house by Grand Finishes.

We loved every part of bringing this project to life, and we can't wait for this family to enjoy it for years to come.
