The origins of this event started several years ago when key General Contractors began to convene to build relationships with construction industry organizations ‘outside’ of pre-bid meetings, RFP pursuits, and public outreach meetings. This organic commitment to the utilization of small, regional, diverse firms has evolved to building strong bonds and meaningful engagement. This ‘edition’ of the event is a ‘Small Business Takeover’ where a number of firms are ‘returning the favor’ and hosting this event which will bring hundreds together to celebrate economic impact!

AC Transit bus routes also serve the Broadway corridor, making the venue easily accessible from throughout the Bay Area.

�There are several parking garages and street parking options within walking distance of FLUID510, including facilities near Broadway and City Hall. The venue is located in Uptown Oakland and is surrounded by multiple public parking options. We encourage everyone to allow a few extra minutes for parking and, as always, please do not leave valuables visible in your vehicle.

A perfect Friday night with powerhouse women and partners who show up. ❤️

Thank you to and for an incredible evening at the premiere of The Beyond the glam and the iconic red heel, what struck me most was the room — women business owners, advocates, and corporate partners coming together to celebrate community, connection, and the work we do every day.

This is what intentional partnership looks like. When corporate America invests in WBEs, when advocacy organizations create space for us to gather, and when we lift as we climb — magic happens.

Grateful for nights like these that remind me why I do this work.
