Although practically all of our work is in California, we have ranked as high as the #5 Green Contractor in the nation in Engineering News Record. Nearly 35% of our staff members are LEED Accredited Professionals and all of our project teams are knowledgeable about the various credits in the United States’ Green Building Council’s LEED Certification system.

We’re proud to share that our recently completed project, Samuel Merritt University’s (SMU) Nursing School in Oakland, has been recognized with the ASCE Golden Gate Branch Outstanding Architectural Engineering Project Award! The recipients will be celebrated tonight at the 2026 ASCE Golden Gate Branch Annual Awards Banquet.

This award celebrates the collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence that brought this state-of-the-art healthcare education facility to life. We’re grateful to our project partners, design team, trade partners, and the entire HD team for their dedication and commitment to delivering a space that will help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.
