The cabinets didn’t move. Everything else about them did.

A fresh color took the light cabinetry from rustic to sophisticated, and that opened the door for the marble slab backsplash, a new island countertop, and a kitchen that finally feels like itself.

Designed this kitchen in 2018 for a family I’ve known for years. Eight years later, their daughter (who now works at DoorDash) helped bring a national brand shoot into her parents’ home.

What I love about this: the design has held up well enough that a national brand chose it as a backdrop almost a decade later. And there’s something quietly full-circle about a kitchen designed for a family becoming part of their adult daughter’s professional life!

There is something so special about a client who invites you to celebrate the next chapter of their life, and that’s exactly where I found myself a few weekends ago!

Up in Deer Valley at the Montage, watching two of my clients say I do, surrounded by mountains and the kind of details only true romantics pull off. It was beautiful. It was joyful. It was a reminder that this work is so much more than the work itself.

And as if the weekend was not enough, their home is up next. We shoot in May, and the reveal will follow soon after. Two chapters back to back, and I get to have a hand in both.

This dining room has a lot of history in it. Pieces passed down, things collected over time, layers that didn't arrive all at once. The arrangement felt right at home.

A huge congratulations to my friend, David, on this stunning cover and feature in I’ve spent time in this home, and the craftsmanship is even more breathtaking in person. It actually served as a major source of inspiration for my own Tahoe project.

The architecture by Clare Walton is a masterclass in modern forms, brought to life perfectly by the team at Heslin Construction. Paul Dyer captured the light here beautifully... I’m so looking forward to our own upcoming project together. This home is a true mountain sanctuary. If you’ve been dreaming of a retreat like this, keep a close eye on this space. It might just be available sooner than you think.

It’s projects like this that define the intentional, elevated aesthetic we’re aiming for with our own Tahoe project.

So excited to finally have these photos back of my parents’ home!

This project holds so much meaning for me. That baby blue car belonged to my grandmother and was later passed down to my mom, a piece of family history that still feels perfectly at home here. The house carries that same sense of story, layered with eclectic collections, antiques, modern pieces, and multi generational artwork gathered over time.

This was also my first project after going off on my own in 2015, which makes it especially special. We’ve renovated in chapters, a major renovation in 2016, another in 2024, and more work planned this year, always evolving the space while staying true to its character. Blending modern, traditional, and inherited elements has been at the heart of this home from the start.

Huge thank you to the incredible stylist and photographer for capturing it so beautifully. Much more coming soon!

I just love this spot. It brings such a sense of serenity to the guest house and has become one of those corners you naturally end up in without even thinking about it. It was meant to feel quiet, relaxed, and a little tucked away, with the chair and pouf as newer additions layered in with pieces that have been around for a long time.

The artwork dates back to the 1920s and was passed down from my grandparents, along with the small pillow, and even the tea kettle is an heirloom from travels in Japan. I always love mixing in pieces like that. It makes the space feel more personal from the start, not overly styled, just easy and comfortable to be in.

Grateful today and always. 🧡
To my incredible clients, thank you for trusting me with your homes and inviting me into your lives. To my vendors and collaborators , you care about these projects as much as I do, and you’ve truly become part of my extended design family. And to my own family, thank you for supporting every wild idea that turns into something real.
