Out with the old, in with the new 🔥🚿

We removed an existing Rinnai tankless unit and upgraded this home with a Rinnai RXP199n (199,000 BTU)—installed in the same location and tied into the existing electrical outlet. From there, we dialed in the whole system: new 2” polypropylene venting to the roofline, full hydronic air handler integration for space heating (with the proper valves + expansion tank), and a Grundfos Alpha recirc pump with timer, aqua-stat, and Bluetooth control for smarter hot water delivery.

To finish it off, we handled the details that protect the system long-term—condensate neutralizer + drain and a dry well created in the concrete walkway near the unit. ✅

Before ➜ After: Boiler Replacement Done Right 🔧🔥

The original boiler was in severe condition — heavily sooted, with the wiring harness completely melted and the Honeywell ignition module burned beyond functionality. Due to the extent of the damage, the unit was unsafe, non-repairable, and beyond saving.

After a full evaluation, we recommended replacement. The Laars Mini-Therm JVS75 was the perfect solution for this tight mechanical space, delivering 63,000 BTUs of efficient, reliable heat. The new system was professionally installed, properly vented, and tested good for safe operation and performance.
