Pool plaster is more than just the color of the water, it’s a critical part of the pool’s structure and longevity. Before we apply plaster, we install multiple layers of waterproofing and bond coat on the gunite shell. This helps protect the pool, improve adhesion, and add another level of durability before the final interior finish goes in.
The plaster then becomes the final waterproofing layer and the visible surface that gives the pool its color and feel.
There are several finish options depending on the look and durability you want:
• Standard plaster – smooth and classic
• Quartz finishes – more durable with added color depth
• Pebble or mini pebble – textured, long-lasting, and very popular for modern pools
Each finish changes how the water reflects light and gives your pool its unique color and character.
Choosing the right plaster is one of the most important decisions in a pool build or remodel.
