Honest Hank’s Electrician in Tampa is looking for a proven service electrician with strong homeowner-facing experience who focuses on the customer needs and providing long term solutions.

This is not a position where someone else quotes the job and sends you out to install it.

You’ll be expected to run the service call from start to finish:

✅ Meet with the homeowner and diagnose the problem
✅ Explain the options and prepare an accurate quote
✅ Confidently ask for the work and close the job
✅ Complete the electrical work you sell

Compensation: Based on experience and efficiency

Growing this business to more than 180 five-star reviews in less than two years came from doing honest work, taking care of people, and earning their trust not just offering one solution or the highest option

So I need someone who can confidently quote the right work based on flat-rate pricing for our residential electrical services.

We have enough lead volume to keep you busy with service calls and plenty of opportunity to earn good money

This position is best for someone who has BOTH the sales experience and electrical experience in the residential service world.

7+ years of electrical experience including residential service/sales experience are required. Being professional with a clean, presentable image is mandatory

Our story

Honest Hank's Electrician was founded after more than 18 years in the electrical industry. Throughout my career, I worked for several companies, but I often found myself frustrated by pushy sales tactics and homeowners being encouraged to spend money they didn't need to.
I knew there had to be a better way.

After getting married and finding out our first child was on the way, I decided it was time to earn my Florida Electrical Contractor's License and build something of my own—something that could support my family for years to come while giving homeowners an electrical company they could truly trust.

Today, we've grown into a team of four electricians who share the same values: putting honesty first, delivering quality workmanship, charging fair prices, and treating every home with the same care and respect we'd expect in our own. Whether it's a simple repair, a panel upgrade, or a generator installation, our goal is always to provide the right solution—not the most expensive one.

As for the name? I originally wanted "Honest Abe's Electrician," but it was already taken. Then I looked over at our family dog, Hank, and thought, who's more honest and loyal than a dog? Honest Hank's was born. Hank became our mascot because he represents the values we believe every customer deserves—honesty, loyalty, and someone who's always looking out for them.

About us

At the end of the day, we're just hardworking people who care about doing the right thing. My wife works just as hard in everything she does, and we both believe hard work is the minimum—not something you should expect praise for. We're raising our son with those same values while building a business centered around honesty, integrity, and treating people the way we'd want our own family treated. We're also proud owners of five dogs and passionate supporters of local pet charities. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, which is exactly why Hank became the face of our company.
